PEARL'S OF WISDOM

 

I am Princess Pearl

I am named after the gemstone Pearl.
It is the sixth foundation stone at the
New Jerusalem in Heaven.

It represents the Spirit of God's Revelation of WISDOM.

There are also 12 pearly gates around the New Jerusalem.
The pearl is the only gem that can emerge from nature
perfect and complete. Unlike diamonds and other gemstones,
a pearl does not require cutting and polishing to reveal
its beauty. It is nature’s perfection in a luminous droplet.

 

Wisdom is not just about knowing things. We become wise when we understand what God wants for our life, and live our life in a way that pleases God. The best way to know what God wants for us is to spend time with Him and gain knowledge about God by reading the bible.

Psalm 111:10 says "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."
 and 1 King 2:6 says
"Wisdom given to men through fear of the Lord."

Fear in these bible verses mean respect and honor.

When we respect and honor God than we are beginning to become a WISE person. The Living Bible reads the same verse this way:
"How can we be wise?
The only way to begin is by reverence for God.
For growth in WISDOM comes from obeying His Laws.
Praise His name forever."

  

James 1:5 says "If you want to know what God wants you to do. ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of WISDOM to all who ask Him; He will not resent it." (The Living Bible)

"If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself. In everything you do, put God first, and He will direct you and crown your efforts with success. Don't be conceited, sure of your own wisdom. Instead, trust and reverence the Lord, and turn your back on evil; when you do that, then you will be given renewed health and vitality."
 (Proverbs 3:4-8 TLB)

Then in Proverbs 3:16-21 David continues to write about WISDOM -
"Wisdom gives:
A long good life
Riches, Honor
Pleasure and Peace.
Wisdom is a tree of life to those who eat her fruit;
happy is the man who keeps on eating it.
The Lord's WISDOM founded the earth;
His understanding established all the universe and space.
The deep fountains of the earth were broken open
by His knowledge, and the skies poured down rain.
Have two goals: WISDOM - that is,
knowing and doing right - and common sense.
Don't let them slip away." (TLB)

  
In Proverbs 4:7-9 God says that WISDOM is like an
"ornament of grace" and a "crown of glory."

Paul wrote to the Colossians that he was praying to God
that they would be knitted together with strong ties of love,
and that they would have "a rich experience of KNOWING Christ
with real certainty and clear UNDERSTANDING.
For God's secret plan, now at last made known,
is Christ Himself. In Him lie hidden all
the MIGHTY, untapped treasures of WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE."
Colossians 2:2-3 (TLB)

Notice that the above prayer from Paul mentions Knowledge,
Understanding, Might and Wisdom. They all tie together
in God's love.
